DJ TR!P, Game On

Electronic producer and DJ, DJ TR!P has released a new mini-album titled Sid Vicious based on the idea less is more. The whole album has been composed on 8-bit machines like a Commodore Amiga, Commodore 64 and even a Nintendo Game Boy. Many of the sounds on the album are reminiscent of old Nintendo and Atari sounds. A similar approach has been used by Ethan Kath of Crystal Castles who placed an Atari 5200 sound chip inside a keyboard.

DJ TR!P - Sid Vicious

Crystal Castles - Air War

DJ TR!P's work has also been used in the current exhibition at Melbourne's Federation Square titled Game On.

Its like a loud, dirty, make you wanna dance and laugh at the same time, naked, music machine. I can't stop listening to their track Sweaty Wet/Dirty Damp and have just found a real cool remix by G.L.O.V.E.S. Checkity.
